SASDAMX takes your privacy seriously. Its founder has a background in cybersecurity, and we apply the same care to your data that we apply to our clients'. This statement explains what personal data we collect on sasdamx.com, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
SASDAMX, run by Sascha Damoiseaux, is responsible for processing your personal data as described here. For any privacy question or request, email saschadamoiseaux@gmail.com.
1. The waitlist and intro call form
When you join the waitlist or request an intro call, we collect:
- your name and email address;
- your company or website and what you need (if you fill them in);
- your optional message;
- whether you chose the waitlist or an intro call, your language, and the page you came from on our site;
- the date and time of your sign-up.
Why: to contact you when a spot opens or to schedule your intro call. Nothing else: no newsletter, no sale to third parties, no advertising.
Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Where it's stored: in a file on the servers of our hosting provider Hostinger, outside the public part of the website. A copy of each sign-up is emailed to our inbox at Google (Gmail).
Spam protection: to limit abuse, we keep a one-way hashed version of your IP address for one hour. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
How long: until you ask us to delete it, and at most 24 months after your last contact with us.
2. Ahrefs Web Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It uses no cookies and doesn't build profiles of individual visitors. The data is aggregated statistics, such as page views, referring websites, country and device type.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website, with minimal impact on your privacy.
3. Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4. It places cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 2 years) to measure how visitors use the site. Advertising features are switched off. If you click Decline or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no Google Analytics cookies are placed.
Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.
Legal basis: your consent. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page.
4. Other technical data
- Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage (
sx-consent) so we don't ask again on every page. It never leaves your device. - Fonts are hosted on our own server. Your browser doesn't connect to Google Fonts or any other font service.
- Server logs: like every website, our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and troubleshooting.
Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: an HTTPS-only website, sign-up data stored outside the public web folder, access limited to the founder, and spam and abuse protection on the form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email saschadamoiseaux@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your country.
Changes
We may update this statement when our website or services change. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
